AIIMS Bhopal, an apex healthcare institute established under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, invites applications for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position under a DRDO-funded research project titled “Identification and validation of early predictive biomarkers of acute kidney injury in patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome.”

Position Details
- Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF), 1 position
- Consolidated Salary: Rs. 31,000 per month + 18% HRA (Rs. 5,580), total Rs. 36,580
- Tenure: 5 months
- Age Limit: Below 30 years as of the last date of application (relaxation applicable for SC/ST as per rules)

Essential Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Life Sciences
Desirable Skills
- Hands-on experience with molecular and cell biology techniques such as RNA extraction, qRT-PCR, ELISA
- Good knowledge of MS Office

Selection Process
- Written Test and/or Skill Test/Interview will be held on 10th December 2025
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the written test/interview
- Candidates must bring original documents, attested copies, a cover letter, CV, and two passport size photographs at the time of the interview
Terms and Conditions
- Candidate must ensure eligibility as per prescribed qualifications; misinformation can lead to disqualification or legal action
- Contractual appointment with no right to claim permanent government job
- The contract can be terminated by either side with 30 days’ notice
- Leave entitlement follows DRDO/ICMR extramural project policies
- No accommodation or hostel facility will be provided
- Government employees must provide a No Objection Certificate
- Original documents must be presented at selection process; failure will disqualify the candidate
- No travel or other allowances will be paid for the selection process or joining
- Canvassing will lead to disqualification
- Candidate may be posted anywhere as per project requirements including rural/field sites
- Adherence to institute rules of conduct and discipline is expected
- Final decision on selection rests with competent authority; no appeals entertained
